When I let go of what I am, I become what I might be. -Lao Tzu

Everyone has this predisposed idea of what they should be, how they should look and even what other people should think of them. It's addicting to think this way, you get caught up in pleasing other people and appeasing the general public by seeming to be "normal."

Let go of that idea right now and move on. Don't ever get too attached to any idea of how you should be besides just being loving and kind when it comes to the end of the day. Everything built around that will flourish. I promise. Love yourself and respect others.

Ok. With all that said, I am moving on from the idea that everyone should have perfect clear healthy skin to be beautiful. I sure as hell don't, but I still love myself. My boyfriend still considers me to be a beautiful woman even with red dry patches on my arms and neck. The more he feels that way and radiates that, the better I begin to feel. And low and behold, the healthier my mental health is and what do you know?! My skin is improving! I also get great support and love from a few friends and my parents which I am very very grateful for :)

Mind over matter is a real thing. Your physical health is strongly affected by your mental health. Meditation and yoga have saved so many people including me. It's my personal therapist. This is why I can't wait to open up my wellness studio and help people just feel good! :)

If you are struggling with something in life, first stop and tell yourself that you love yourself no matter what. Then, forgive yourself.  When you constantly harbor negative thoughts and emotions, you are the one beating yourself down and making yourself not feel complete. Let it go, what happened has already happened. Then check around and make sure you are not surrounding yourself with idiots or assholes. Seriously, the top five people you are around greatly influence your life. Last but not least, have the courage to be yourself. Not what you think you should be according to society's guidelines but your honest true divine self. If you don't know what that is yet, that's fine. Tell yourself every morning in the mirror or in meditation that you know exactly who you are and exactly what you want to do in life. Eventually the universe will show you.

Namaste bitches!

A couple years ago, I would have hated this picture. I look goofy and I run like a little girl. Nowadays, I could care less. It's who I am. Plus, I was happy in the photo and what's not to like about being happy?!
